This year, I’m taking part in Make a Move for Scleroderma to raise funds and awareness for everyone affected by this rare and often misunderstood disease. Scleroderma is life changing for those diagnosed and their families but with your support, we can make a difference.

The funds I raise will help support vital research, provide programs and resources for patients, raise awareness for this rare disease, and strengthen advocacy efforts to improve access to care and treatments.

So excited to have our 2026 walk. Val and I wrapped 6 more silent auction items. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful donations. Friends and family who support us are awesome. They understand and help as needed. They encourage us and keep us going even on those harder days.  See you all in a few days. 

Week 1

Monday 25th May
Dear friends,
I have been busy organizing our 2026 walk with an amazing team. I feel truly blessed. As each week passed we had to increase our goal as my team is doing exceptionally well. Each week each new diagnosis hits us hard but we will continue on. Did you know this disease was first diagnosed in 1753 by Dr. Carlo Curzio. Hard to imagine after all this time there is no cure. As the disease progresses it takes parts of you. I am fortunate to be plugged into the system with a terrific rheumatologist, Gastroenterologist, dermatologist pulmonary specialist and a cardiologist. Each doctor looks at my symptoms and works on those issues. Thank you for your continued support. It means the world to be to have my friends and family understanding my complex health.
