This year, I’m taking part in Make a Move for Scleroderma to raise funds and awareness for everyone affected by this rare and often misunderstood disease. Scleroderma is life changing for those diagnosed and their families but with your support, we can make a difference.

The funds I raise will help support vital research, provide programs and resources for patients, raise awareness for this rare disease, and strengthen advocacy efforts to improve access to care and treatments.

Make-A-Move Scleroderma Walk in memory of Maureen Worron Sauve

Yesterday was filled with gratitude, remembrance, and hope as I participated in the first annual Maureen Worron-Sauve Make -A-Move for Scleroderma walk in honour of Maureen.

This cause is especially close to my heart. Having my family beside me at the walk, and every day reminds me how fortunate I am to have such incredible support throughout my scleroderma journey.

It was especially moving to walk in honour of Maureen, whose passion for raising awareness and advocating for the scleroderma community continues to inspire so many. She dedicated herself to moving mountains for this cause, and her legacy lives on through events like the walk.
Every step taken was a reminder of why awareness matters, why research matters, and why we continue to share our stories.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, and supported this special day. Together, we are continuing a legacy of awareness, advocacy, and hope.
