We're raising funds for scleroderma research. Help us reach our goal and support those who are living with this disease. Let’s find a cure together!

Gay Duncan was diagnosed with Scleroderma in 2014. Its impact was mostly skin hardening and severe joint movement limitations, and lots of pain. She could no longer work and had to retire and shut down her business.
Fortunately, in 2017 and 2018 she was registered in a double-blind drug trial with Dr. Johnson’s Scleroderma Clinic at Mt. Sinai. After a year and a half of drug therapy her skin softened substantially, and she regained much of the joint movement. Unfortunately, the disease scaring has left her with chronic (constant) pain in her hands, face, and neck. Currently her disease has stabilized, (not getting worse, not getting better), but she personally knows of people who have died a long and painful death at the hands of this awful disease. Gay counts herself as one of the “lucky ones”.
The funds we raise will help support vital research, provide programs and resources for patients, raise awareness for this rare disease, and strengthen advocacy efforts to improve access to care and treatments.
Please consider supporting our fundraising efforts. Together, we can find a cure. 💙
For those who can join us the Scarborough Walk Event is June 27 at Confederation Park.
