Edmonton Make a Move

I’m raising funds for scleroderma research. Help me reach my goal and support those who are living with this disease. Let’s find a cure together!

On June 28, I’ll be taking part in the Make a Move for Scleroderma walk in Edmonton.

I live with diffuse scleroderma and myositis, and this past March marked five years since my stem cell transplant — a milestone that means a great deal to me and one that I certainly don’t take for granted. Five years ago, I wasn’t sure what the future would look like, so reaching this point is something I’m incredibly thankful for.

Like many living with scleroderma, there have been challenges along the way, but there have also been many reasons to be grateful. Advances in research and the support of family, friends, and healthcare teams have made a tremendous difference in my life.

That’s why I’m participating in this year’s Make a Move for Scleroderma walk. My hope is that by raising awareness and supporting research, others facing this disease will have even better treatments and more reasons to celebrate milestones of their own.

If you’re able to support the cause with a donation, I would be truly grateful. Every contribution, big or small, helps make a difference.

Thank you for your support, encouragement, and for helping bring hope to everyone affected by scleroderma.

I pray everyday for a cure. I have been here for your battle. You're a warrior. Hugs.
